By accessing or purchasing from whenfashionwasfashion.com ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or place an order.

2. About When Fashion Was Fashion

When Fashion Was Fashion is a vintage clothing and antiques retailer based in Southern California. All inventory is curated and one-of-a-kind, sourced from a family-operated antique store in California’s high desert. Due to the nature of vintage and antique goods, items are sold as described and photographed.

3. All Sales Are Final

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations under any circumstances, including but not limited to change of mind, sizing issues, or shipping delays.

Before purchasing, you are responsible for:

•  Reviewing all product photographs carefully.

•  Reading the full item description, including condition notes, measurements, and fit notes.

•  Contacting us with questions BEFORE placing an order.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept these terms without exception.

4. Item Condition & Authenticity

All items are vintage, antique, or select pre-owned pieces. Condition is described honestly in each product listing. Minor wear consistent with age is expected and will be disclosed. We do not sell items as new unless explicitly stated.

We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding the fitness of any item for a particular purpose beyond what is described in the listing.

5. Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time before an order is fulfilled. If a pricing error affects your order, we will notify you and you may choose to proceed at the corrected price or cancel.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We ship to addresses within the United States. Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or circumstances beyond our control.

Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. If a package is lost or damaged in transit, you must file a claim with the carrier directly. We will provide tracking information and reasonable assistance.

Local pickup is available in Southern California by prior arrangement.

7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us is considered a breach of these Terms of Service. We document all sales thoroughly, including product photos, condition descriptions, and communications. We will contest any chargeback that is not the result of unauthorized card use.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including photographs, copy, branding, and design, is the property of When Fashion Was Fashion. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this Site without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, When Fashion Was Fashion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of any item. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific item in dispute.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
